Consulting Services

My consulting services include technical advice for programs on peacebuilding, governance and conflict; research and analysis, such as conflict analysis or program evaluations; workshop design and facilitation to achieve different learning or negotiated outcomes; and stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies.

  • Available for technical advice to enhance peacebuilding, governance, and conflict sensitivity programming, from adaptive program design and management to monitoring, evaluation, and learning (ME&L).

    Experience designing, managing, and/or advising programs on:

    • Civil society capacity and coalition building

    • Parliamentarian support

    • Conflict prevention and violence monitoring

    • Peacebuilding (including dialogue and mediation) and technical assistance to peace negotiations (covering federalism and power-sharing)

    • Gender, Peace, and Security

    • Conflict-sensitive development interventions

    Programming and research experience spans Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Philippines, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and Bangladesh. Experience working with local partners in West and East Africa and Latin America.

  • Available to carry out various types of analysis and research products. For example, conflict analysis, social development analysis, feasibility studies, program impact studies and evaluations, analysis of governance institutions and policy-making processes, training curriculums, and in-depth research reports.

    Research skills and experience:

    • Mixed-methods researcher with quantitative and qualitative training at the PhD level

    • Skilled at synthesizing various types of evidence to develop analytical products with recommendations for policy and programming

    • Methodology design and implementation, including within restrictive research environments

    • Management of research teams and publications from conception to dissemination, ensuring impact with target audiences

  • Available to design and facilitate workshops for learning, networking, or decision-making goals.

    Experience designing various types of workshops and facilitating the process, including:

    • Dialogues and negotiation processes on policy issues

    • Training and capacity-building workshops

    • Program strategy planning, testing, and review workshops

    Professional trainer with experience using adult learning methods and designing cirriculums.

  • Available to support stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies. Experience includes:

    • working at the program level to devise inclusive strategies that bring the right people together to shape project design and implementation, achieving the intended impact, and building in conflict-sensitive approaches

    • working with national-level organisations, civil society, and think tanks to develop strategies to engage policy communities or influence peace processes

    • working on international negotiations and multilateral processes with coalitions to influence outcomes
